Made it to Beacon post( I dont remember the name) last night

Went outside with the same party that got us there and went out to Lornars path? Anyways, there was a Lvl 24 BIG AZZ CREATURE, 3 of them in total and needless to say the whole party was decimated in a matter of seconds.

Has anyone actually defeated these monsters? I'm sure the drops are great, but the lvl 24 monsters were the first that we met up with.

N/MO14

Party consisted of a variety witha W/MO18

beacons perch is where the entrance to lornars pass is located. However Lornars pass is a gateway to Droknars forge which is an advanced location in the game. To make it through Lornars pass you need some highly skilled people, so good luck to you if you insist on going that way but at your lvl you really need to go out the other exit.

HaHaHa... That area is not for you... Hell its not for Asceded People either. Stay out of there till your armor and level is much much better. or Pay someone to run you though there if that is in fact what you really want to do.

to answer your question there is a path from there that will lead you to a part in the game that you dont actually reach for a while... that is the normal mosters you fight once you get past the Crystal Desert... you are not ment to go that way yet... Beacon Post has 2 ways out a north and south you need to go north.

Exit to Deldrimor Bowl, not Lornar's Pass!

(Lornar's Pass is the way that 99% of the people in all-chat at Beacon's Perch are yelling to be "run" through to Droknar's Forge for the armor--very difficult to find a group to do quests from Beacon's Perch!)

whoa, yeah man you will want to wait a little while to try that one again. I am lvl 20 and its still tough to do with a good group. So be prepared for a real adventure with a good group next time you try.

My advice is to keep heading west and build up in the direction untill you feel you may be strong enough to return.

I paid someone to run me there last night. And I can tell you just from watching the monsters around as he ran, I have no real desire to go back into those mountains for a long time.

by the way the armor level in droknars is easily obtained for FREE in the desert once you get there. so the run is almost a waste of time. Just go to sanctums Cay and take boat to Crystal Desert. find the collectors and get your armor there for free. problem solved. go back and play the rest of the game with the armor benefit. where droknars came in handy was unlocking skills to use, and now we can do that with PvP, so really there is not much reason to go there anymore, other then just for the heck of it. or for the other styles ( Fur, Scale, ect..) of armor which is 1,500 per piece.

The Fissue of Woe is the place to get the best armor for the Warrior, but its just a different style for most other classes not a better Armor Class, its just expensive and hard to get, but its the same level armor as the free stuff in the desert.

Ummm yeah, just as the Charr are worse than the devourers etc. At each advanced area of the game the mobs grown more difficult and challenging.

And they have devourer's in the desert...just meanier and with more friends....hehe scarabs!!!!!
